BioWhat to say? How to sum up 40+ years in a biography. Well here goes;
I'm on the wrong side of 40 but still act like a 16 year old. I love my wife of 11 years and two kids. I work in metal, sometimes succesfully and sometimes I want to hurl it off a cliff.
These metals include, steel, bronze, silver, and pewter(lead) which I beleive to be a much maligned metal.
I half-own a game store called Campaign Outfitters. One of the best gaming/hobby stores in Canada. (well a close second to the Sentry Box in Calgary, that place ROCKS!!) I participate in several different martial activities including SCA (society for creative anachronism) rapier combat. I also play a live action role playing game called Havok! here in Winnipeg (that I helped create and write) along with playing Vampire the Masquerade (before it turned stupid).
I paint miniatures. Plastic and metal. I'm not as good as most but better than some. I also play a lot of the games I sell. Not well, mind you, but I try...
I learned to skydive a few years ago. It was a blast. I went with my Airsoft buddies and we all went in uniform. I think many of the people thought we were some sort of anti-government militia group of some kind. They know too much...
I also hunt. Not as much as I'd like. I love the feeling of putting good, honest food on my family's table and all it cost me was a bit of time, and the effort to clean and process the meat myself. Nothing like it. To those of you who turn your noses up to such things, I pity you. You don't know what your missing.
